Skaarup Family

He married Marie Rasmussen in Thisstaed, Denmark.

Their children were:

• Anna Elizabeth, born in Denmark on 20 October 1885;
• Soren, born in 1888 and died in October 1930, married Lois and had children Helen, Rita and Doris; and
• Nels Christian, born on 27 August 1894 and died on 2 July 1965 (married Julia Jensena Hansen and had children Alyce Jean, Anita Mae and Dorthie Marie).

They immigrated through Ellis Island, New York in 1890.

Following the death of Marie on 4 July 1930, Jens married Anna Damin on 10 July 1931.

Anna Elizabeth SKAARUP was born in Denmark on 20 October 1885, the daughter of Jens Nelson Skaarup and Marie Rasmussen.

The family immigrated through Ellis Island, New York in 1890, settling in Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

She married Johannes Valdemar Larsen at Cedar Falls on 7 October 1908.

She died at Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California on 17 July 1986 at the age of 100.
