My name is Nolan Edwards, and I skate for VNLA out of Greenville, South Carolina.
First and foremost, I give everything up to God for the talents He has given me and the opportunities He has presented for me. I wouldn’t be anywhere without His guidance.
I was born in Dearborn, Michigan and spent most of my life around the Detroit and Metropolitan cities. I first started skating in Michigan when I was around the age of 16. I didn’t start off very good, period. But, as with anything, practice made the goal seem a little easier.
From one Friday night with Nate Wivell, to 5 years in the making of this great journey I have been on because of this sport. I have been to so many more places I could have ever been before and met so many great people.
I love to skate. I skate a majority of the week, even with a full time job. Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I couldn’t tell you why it’s so much fun to me, but I can say that when I am in the creative element, I have the same smile as when I first entered it those many years back.
