I have worn vanilla skates from the beginning and I'll continue, riddell skates are good as well, but just too expensive, I'm too heavy and I sweat too much, your blackout boots last me 3 years, and when they fall apart it's no big deal, I just simply get another pair.... Just ridiculous money for riddell, vanilla skates are my favorite. Thank you so much

Awesome boot. The obsidian is basically a junior pro. For and finish is great, the upgraded padding in all the right places, and the leather sole make this boot a huge upgrade from the junior boot. The fully removable lace guard is cool future, it makes tying or relacing your boot, a lot less cumbersome. For me it’s a toss up between the blackout boot and obsidian we have both and they are so good. They are boots that you can wear for a very long time if not life, and they get better and better as the years go by. Well done VNLA. And let me add, best customer service I have ever dealt with in my 45 years.
